Will I be coached in front of others?
Yes. Our coaching program operates on the 4 fundamental guidelines of confidentiality, authenticity, presence, and respect to generate trust within the cohorts. The cohorts provide a space and supportive space for your personal and professional development.
Is my participation confidential?
Yes. Your participation in the program is confidential to the level you wish it to be. We collect some participatory data, which is aggregated when reported to the department.
What goals should I develop?
The word “should” is a misnomer. What goals are most relevant to you? You will get the most out of the program if you bring goals that are meaningful and pressing for you. If you’re not sure what this is, schedule a time to meet with the facilitator to refine it more.
Can I put this on my resume?
Yes! You are learning coaching and facilitation skills that are highly regarded as “soft skills” in academia and industry.
